Are you balancing your job, personal life and caring for parents, grandparents, or other loved ones? We understand how difficult that can be. We also know making decisions regarding the care of those loved ones can be stressful.
CHEER offers programs and resources to help you.
• Caregiver Support Groups are available for caregivers who provide daily care for a loved one. Support Groups help you learn from other’s experiences as they learn from yours.
• Caregiver Libraries are located in the Georgetown, Lewes, Long Neck, Ocean View and Milton CHEER Centers. The libraries offer informative and helpful training videos, comprehensive resource directories, books, pamphlets and informational resource materials on caregiving. Knowledgeable staff are available to assist you with your informational needs.
• Memory Café is an informal social gathering where you and your loved one can participate in activities that help retain and possibly improve memory skills. It is open to everyone who wants to work on their brain power. It is especially helpful to those suffering memory loss and their caregivers.

You can also make an appointment to meet with a Caregiver Coordinator at a CHEER convenient location for you for a Resource Consultation.
