CHEER Meals On Wheels Program:

• Available to eligible Homebound Seniors
• Meals are delivered Monday through Thursday by CHEER volunteers
• Weekend meals are delivered on Thursday
• Holiday meals are part of the program
• Meals are heart-healthy and meet nutritional specifications
• Menus are analyzed and supervised by a Registered Dietician
• Nutrition screening is promoted for at-risk seniors
• CHEER Outreach Workers are trained to offer referrals for Personal Assistance Services, Transportation, and all aging services when appropriate

Pet Food Meal Delivery

Many homebound seniors have a furry live-in friend and they have been known to share their own food with their pets. They have even been known to forego their own medication to be able to purchase food for their pets. With your donation, this would not happen.

CHEERmobile Mini Market

Stocked with a variety of staples and dry goods, CHEER’s Mini Market was started in 1996 to help homebound seniors who could no longer get to the market get the groceries they needed and wanted. Once they sign up, there is no application or delivery fee for the service other than the price of the groceries with a slight markup to cover the costs. The senior can pay with cash, check or credit card. The CHEERmobile is stocked with over 100 varieties of non-perishable food and household supplies. Seniors 50 and over can pre-order groceries and will be placed on a delivery schedule.
