Delaware Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro supports CHEER by helping each year to deliver Meals On Wheels to Sussex County senior citizens. Vonita Gromis was both surprised by and happy to receive her lunch from the Commissioner.
CHEER is a Meals On Wheels Delaware member agency and, with the help of many volunteers, delivers healthy meals to homebound adults throughout Sussex County. The meal programs are funded by the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities, Meals On Wheels Delaware, private funds and are also supported by donations from local businesses and individuals.
