A Christmas Wish of CHEER

 

 T’was the night before Christmas

And all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring

Not even a mouse.

The cupboards were bare

As many senior citizens settle down

with despair,

They are left with the hope

That some food would be there.

When at the front door

There arose such a clatter,

Our lonely senior citizen

Was left to wonder what was the matter...
