If you are looking for a beautiful place to hold your wedding, civil union, or banquet, CHEER has the perfect location for you. Conveniently located in Georgetown, Delaware, the CHEER Community Center can accommodate large or small groups for your special event.
The CHEER Community Center is a convenient and affordable way to have the wedding/civil union of your dreams. Our banquet room can be decorated to suit the needs and styles of any couple.
Seating 50 to 400 guests, the CHEER Community Center is sure to provide you the space and comfort you desire. Our Banquet Hall can be broken down into two (2) or three (3) smaller spaces in order to create a ceremony and reception that is sure to WOW guests with beauty and elegance.

2012 Wedding/Civil Union and Event Pricing Guide
Weekdays during regular business hours: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Small banquet room
- (75-100 people) - $165 for 4 hours
- Medium banquet room (100-200 people) - $300 for 4 hours
- Large banquet room (up to 450 dining, 700 auditorium style) - $400 for 4 hours
- Hourly rate (after first 4 hours) $50 (small room) $75 (large room)
Saturdays, Sundays & Evenings (weekdays after 5 p.m.)
- Large banquet room only - $600
- Hourly rate (after first 4 hours) $100

CHEER requires that all events be catered by Catchers Catering, our in-house catering company. Catchers catering offers a wide variety of hot and cold appetizers, delicious entrée options and very competitive pricing.
